Lowcountry Giving Day Helps The Cancer Thrift Store of Beaufort #FIGHT Cancer
Lowcountry Giving Day is a day for the Lowcountry to give back to their community; for 24 hours on May 3rd, we come together as one community to raise awareness and funds for our local nonprofits.
The Cancer Thrift Store of Beaufort's staff is excited to participate in Lowcountry Giving Day for the very first time this year! This is an opportunity for the entire community to come together to FIGHT Cancer. We hope to raise enough funds to be able to help each and every cancer patient that comes into our doors.
We have lots of new programs planned for the coming year such as: providing free transportation for cancer patients to get to their appointments. We're also planning cancer awareness fairs to educate the community on ways to prevent cancer.
